It was cheap but not that cheap..
The costume is ok, but its hard to fail when you simply saw pieces of fabric together. The item that makes the costume is the mask. Sadly they managed to make that out of the thinnest plastic material that chinese manufacturing processes can produce... It's basically like stiff paper. When you just throw the item onto a cardboard box for shipping the 1 inch tentacles at the bottom of the mask will break of the moment they get in touch with anything besides air, such as the inner body of the cardboard box it is shipped in.
So you can imagine the face on my 6 year old son when he picked up this piece of crap, paper thing mask that has a broken tentacle hanging on for dear life in a thin plastic piece making it look like an item you could find on the floor after a wild kindergarten costume party. Sad thing is that this was new out of the box and already broken.
DO NOT BUY!
