My son wanted to be a swat/policeman for halloween, so he picked this costume out himself. It looks pretty cool in the pic, however when we got it. it was the cheapest thing ive ever seen. they have nicer costumes at walmart! First of all its made of thin shiny polyester that was A ONE PIECE that tied in the back...the sizing was too small, so it stayed up his rear end all night. the vest came in plastic pieces tha bet you had to velcro together! a big pain! the knee and elbow pads are also separate pieces that have to be velcroed together. and the helmet is not breathable....no holes...no shoes...and the gun holster wouldnt even hold his gun...btw..no gun comes with it.lol...it was just a cheap, cheap costume and we were very disappointed.Great costume!!!

For 20 bucks i couldnt go wrong. its so hard to find magamind anything, even toys that arnt off the charts expensive. but this fit the bill. stand up collar is cute and fit him great. we took the medium because i read somewhere it is a little snug. my kid is broad and tall, got this when he was 5 1/2 and it fit him great. it is flimsy, so dont think youre getting great quality. but for the price point at 20 bucks, cant beat it. hoursof endless chraracter play and easy to stitch back up again.great price and made child happy!

A lot of costumes made with cheap fabric for kids feel like rug when you get them. This one is definitely an exception. It is well-designed and very detailed. The fabric feels very comfortable. I was on the fence about which size to order, since my five year-old has a small build. I ordered the small for him for Christmas. When it arrived, it looked like it would be close so I held it up to one of his shirts (since I couldn't have him try it on before Christmas!). The shoulder seams on the jersey were smaller / narrower than those on my son's shirt (a size 4/5), so I returned the small and have ordered the medium instead. Maybe that will help any others who aren't sure on sizing ... UPDATE AFTER CHRISTMAS: Now that I have been able to have my son try the outfit on, the Medium is a bit big for him (he normally wears size 5T in shirts and 4T in pants). We had him wear a sweatshirt under the jersey and a safety pin did the trick on the pants. In hindsight, the small may have been just right.
Also, as far as quality, if you're looking for a cute dress-up outfit or costume, this is great and what I expected (i.e., similar to the quality of other dress-up outfits...Cute, but cheaply made
This uniform is cute, but VERY flimsy and cheaply made. I purchased it for my 5-yr. old nephew. He has had it for only 3-4 weeks and it is already in shambles and he only plays "football" in the house since it is very cold this winter. The helmet STICKERS are already peeling off and looking worn. I would not purchase this particular uniform again given any other option.Great gift

We bought a bunch of these for a party at around $15/set via Amazon. Just want to make clear, there are no ties on these capes to wear around ones neck. We easily sewed on our own. They are made of a thin brown nylon which is almost sheer. Size-wise, it fit a 4-year-old loosely and was snug on a 10-year-old. The belt is made of a smooth piece of fabric foam with screen printed design on it and that fasten behind with velcro. There is no holster for a saber. It is a bit stretchy, so it fit a wide range of waists. The saber is green and requires batteries for the lighted effect. The shaft of the saber has a button switch for turning the light on and off. There is no clip to attach the saber to a belt loop. The green plastic part retracts back into the shaft and has a lock on the end to keep it from extending back out. The set also comes with a clip-on hair braid which is to be worn on the right side of someone training to be a Jedi. Upon becoming a Jedi, it is to be...Fun costume

I read many of the reviews on this product prior to purchasing and initially was a bit hesitant that the helmet wouldn't fit my son. I was pleasantly surprised and my son is elated with this set.
One reviewer said that the jersey 'wouldn't fit a teddy bear'. That must be one very large teddy bear as both the helmet and jersey fit both my 4 year old son and my 7 year old daughter. Actually, both my husband and I can fit the helmet on our heads. :) The helmet is a bit large on my son's heard, once he gets it on, as it is a bit tight near the ear pads. I have purchased foam inserts made or bike helmets to add extra padding so it doesn't slip down over his eyes.
This is a great set if you are looking for something for your kids to wear around the house to 'play' in and not to play actual football. I would definitely recommend the product for that purpose.Wonderful Purchase!

I also, didn't used the little shoe covers. They connect with velcro and a little piece of fabric under the sole of the shoe, so I figured they would wear off before the night was over. Bought this halloween costume for 10 year old son who is a big GI Joe fan. The costume of course does not look as nice as pictured on web site, nor on the insert which comes with the costume. The costume is not well made. It is very thin, (must be worn with thermals underneath (top and bottom), it is sloppily constructed, and the "tunic" is barely a tunic, with a piece of fabric which is the "belt", but does not look like one. It's a one piece jumpsuit which will make it difficult for a quick trip to the bathroom. The shoulder detail is nice. Perhaps the Deluxe version of the costume looks better...

In my experience of costume purchasing, you are never going to get a high quality item. They charge a lot of money because they can, and more often than not, you get an item that could be made better. I purchased the Jango Fett costume for my daughter last year, it was $70, and not even close to being worth it. But what can you do, other than taking up a sewing class to learn to do it yourself. No time for that.
The other problem I have had with the costumes is their sizing methods. Never work. I wonder what method they have for coming up with their sizes. I always have to alter them.
This Luke costume is what I have come to expect, thin cheap fabric, terrible stitching, thrown together look. The most disappointing feature is that the top does not open. I thought it would go on jacket style, but it is a pullover. It is also more brown than the photo shows, not white or light tan. The belt is very flimsy, and I will have to do some stitching to fix some errors to fix the...Cool costume
Could not find Luke costume anywhere but on-line. Sister was Leia, so needed Luke. Family members impressed, stating "coolest costume they had seen." Overpriced, yes, but to be expected with Halloween costumes. Son was excited. Medium fit well on a 45lb almost 7 yo avg height boy.As advertised

I bought it for my 3 yr old nephew because I bought capitan america's for my 5 year old nephew from Disney store and it was about the same price on sale in Disney. II'm dissapointed with the chest part because the one from Disney is all cushion on the chest part, which make it more comfortable for the kids, this one it feels like wearing a cartoon box, I know is for playing but i wouldn't mind paying a little extra to have my nephew wearing more comfortable costume, after all, they are going to be running all over and getting on the floor so I think those kind of clothes should be more comfortable, the rest of the fabric is good, my sisters prefer this because they said the kids doesn't feel trapped in a hot costume and they have more air running inside the costume.What you see is what you get!!!!
I've seen the same costume priced at $50+. This is a great quality for the price. Really nice!!! My son really thinks he is the flash!!! Its great!!!Made well enough

I bought this for my 5 year old to wear on halloween. We bought the one ring on a chain, and a sword. He really like it but it does not include the brown jacket in the picture. People still got it but we assumed it would be a bit more for the price.Frodo's only available costume...unless you make it yourself.
OK, I was very hesitant to buy this costume after reading the description. But, here we go. It fits the bill. It fits and it doesn't look as bad as I expected. The lapels are a contrasting velvet like fabric, and look pretty good. Lets face it, I could not make this jacket. The cape is a green tweed and adds a bit of authenticity to Frodo. now, of course, you have to get the elf pin and the RING sold separately. I also got a brown wig for the hair. My very picky son if very happy with this costume.Frodo Costume
The jacket runs big and the cape is shorter than pictured. While my son was excited about the ring that came with the costume, he couldn't put it on a necklace since there is a gap in the ring and it falls off. Bought this for my 7 year old son who is a converted Crimson Tide fan. He LOVES this set. The only problem that I have with it is getting him to take it off. I bought this for my 6 year old son for Christmas this year. I was worried the jersey would swallow him because he is slender for his age. He is 49" tall weighing about 40 lbs. The jersey is a little big but not too big. It looks fine over a white tshirt either short or long sleeve. The helmet is "not a real helmet" so he tells me & it's a little big for his head but he still wears it. I bought this for my 5 year old son who just saw Star Wars Episode 4 and wanted to be Luke Skywalker dressed as a stormtrooper for Halloween. I like really cool costumes, and after reading MANY reviews, I settled on this one. I bought the voice changer helmet as some reviews said the helmet was cheesy. It wasn't at all, in fact, my son doesnt even wear the voicechanger helmet as it is too large and heavy for his little head. The costume looks great, he wears it all the time around the house when playing star wars. The only problems we have with it is 1) you can't really clean it, and 2) he was in between sizes (yes, that is a personal problem), so I ordered the larger size. We just put some snow boots on and you couldnt really tell it was 8in. too long, and it still looked amazing!good quality for the money

The costume itself was great! Very well made and my son loved it. The mask was very disappointing and wasn't at all like the picture looked. It is made out of a plastic material that is very flimsy.
