My kid is 9 years old but has a small head so the helmet was plenty roomy. The Jersey has little removable shoulder pads and makes him look like a little football player. The iron-on numbers were great. It did not come with iron-on letters which would have been nice.

Was a little dubious about ordering this on line - like to see product, touch it, check it all out - but decided to take a chance. It is the cutest thing ever!! My 3 year old grandson ran to put in on the instant he opened the package. Thankfully we had left it until last. He refused to take it off all day and tried to eat with the helmet on :-) Will be back next year for more presents!!
