My son is very much into pretend and he wears his costumes frequently. This one seems pretty well constructed considering your average Halloween costume. He can see well through the fabric. A note of caution though, the belt is not attached to the robe and is pretty long, so if you have strangulation concerns with such a thing, you may want to take the belt out of the package before giving the costume to your child or secure it to the robe with a few quick stitches. My son never seems to want to take the time to mess with the belt anyway and he usually wears it without.
