Awesome ninja costume - even for a girl!
My 7 year old daughter wanted to be a ninja for Halloween. All the girl costumes looked more like Geisha costumes, or were all pink or had some sort of a skirt. She was not happy with any of those choices and wanted a boy costume. I wasn't thrilled (at first) with the idea of a boy costume, but once we started looking, we both really liked this one. The black and red looked good together.

My daughter is 49.5" tall and normally wears a size 7-8, but I took a chance and ordered the size 6 (in my experience, lots of costumes tend to run large). I'm glad I did. This size fits her perfectly! I think anything bigger would have looked too sloppy. This one is the perfect fit. I also ordered her a set of Raphael's (from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) sais weapons, which came with a red mask for the eyes. The whole thing looks great put together.

Everything came a day sooner (thank you to the seller!) and she was thrilled to try on her costume yesterday. Here are...

Perfect for your little ninja
My 5 year old son wanted to be a ninja for Halloween and I was having trouble finding one with decent reviews, and that didn't have a million sashes we had to tie everywhere. This one is perfect. He wears a 5T pant and a 6 shirt and the size 6 fits him very well. I think he'll be able to wear it another year and had no trouble bundling up underneath it for trick or treating. It's a 4 piece set so not many parts to lose. My son just needed help tying the sash around his waist and getting the mask on right. The mask has two pieces of elastic attached with velcro and it stays in position very well if you put them right side up. Not hard unless you're an excited 5 year old. :) We're very happy with it and it will definitely become part of the dress up rotation. The gold material on the top makes it stand out nicely from the many other ninjas we saw this year.

Happy little ninja
I bought this for my 3 year old son for Halloween and he absolutely loved it. I loved that it was 2 pieces so he could take it on and off easily for potty breaks. I was surprised that it fit so well and wasn't too long. My only complaint is that the sash would sometimes slip down if it wasn't tied tight enough. But all in all, a fantastic costume for the price. I got it for a steal!!
