The costume is a good likeness to the one the comic book character wears. My son was very excited about it when I purchased it for his birthday and has worn it around the house and yard for days playing "superhero."
One major drawback is that the costume does not come with a mask or any accessories. These must be purchased as seperate items in the Rubies Green Lantern Accessory kit for an additional $12.99. The mask was made of a cheap foam material. It has elastic bands sewed onto the foam that goes around the head and attaches in back with velcro. The mask only lasted two days before the elastic pulled loose from the foam. Our attempts to repair it were unsuccessful and it can no longer be worn.
Another drawback to the costume is that the emblem was sewn onto the chest with about a dozen stitches in a single vertical line in the center of the emblem. The circumference of the emblem is not attached to the costume. It appears that it would be extremely...
