This toy Rubies Star Wars Jedi vs Sith Battle Chest Child, Size 8 to 10 was supposed to be an exciting birthday gift for our 5-year old twin boys; however, it broke within an hour of opening.

They loved the gift; however, the mask and sabers are not durable. The Darth Vader mask didn't work directly from the box. The plastic ring on the Jedi saber came off and had to be super glued it back together. The Darth Vader light saber had a couple of problems too. The saber keeps coming apart and the light is too dim to be seen during the day. There doesn't seem to be an apparent solution to fixing the Darth saber.

One of our twins said he loved his new toys; however, he decided that the best plan to prevent them from breaking was to pack up the costume and saber. He put them in the original box and put them in the closet. He said that he wanted them to last until Halloween and would wait to...

Cannot give this a poor enough review
Desire my misgivings, this was all my sone wanted for his birthday last week. We have a collection of plastic light sabres but all of them have worked for at least a few months and all of them are still in one piece. The two in this box failed to work out of the box despite trying three sets of brand new batteries. The top sections of both fell off within hours of simply being carried around. -- not a vicious blow between little boys (and yes our other cheap plastic lint sabres have held up to that kind of abuse). The chest is a crappy cardboard box that won't last more than a couple of weeks when we had hoped it would make a nice storage case for the star wars stuff. All in all the worst present I have eve bought.

Imagination
After seeing my 4 yo grandson actively portray the personality of a pirate, his Halloween personna, I thought a dress up chest would be right up his alley. He will have many hours of fun with his imagination and sense of humor and the costumes to go with it.
