We received the costume this afternoon, and was very disappointed to find out that the hat was missing. The package contained only the shirt and the pants. The costume is incomplete without the hat, and I am planning to return it tomorrow.
One other thing you need to know if you are considering to purchase this costume for your son for Halloween, the neck opening is very tight making it very hard and uncomfortable to wear.
Items not consistent
I ordered two of these costumes for a school performance for two children, one medium and one large. The medium costume was short-sleeved, with bright white stripes and such a small neck that we needed to cut a slit in it to get the child's head through. The large costume was long-sleeved (not as pictured on the front of the packaging it came in!), with a larger neck, but the stripes looked yellowed next to the other costume. It was easy enough to cut the sleeves off, but was just odd to have two costumes in the same packaging be so different.
It was what I expected
The material is made out of that silky costume material. I purchased this for a school play for my son. To make it look more like tattered I used a black crayon to make some "dirty" wear on it and I made some small cuts. It looked great! He can use it as a Halloween costume in the future.
