Well the pic of it looks great and it even looked pretty good on my son when I tried it on him tonight, except...
Pants are of light enough material that they are see through. not a issue as I will have other pants on him under it for our mid 50's weather while trick or treating)
The chain on the cape fell off when I was taking it out of the bag.
The clasp for the cape chain fell off after I had resewn on the chain.
The necklace isnt even attached (fell off during shipping or before)
After the above I will have to have my sister or mom sew about every other part that could fall off before Halloween comes. not very inclined to sew and my only needle and "thread" was actually a suture kit from my BOB I only wish I had tried it on him sooner as there is no longer enough time to go get a better quality costume. I have learned my lesson on this though and will just go to our local horror outlet from now on as I did in the past.
This costume ruined our Halloween!!!!!
Don't do what I did and ignore the other reviews! This costume is not worth the money. Don't get me wrong, this costume is very cute/attractive, but the quality is horrible! The back of the shirt ripped open when my son tried it on. Before I had him completely dressed in the costume the first time one of the bottoms and the gold chain fell off the shirt. Just walking from one end of the house to the other the cape chain fell off. I should have sent it back that day, but my son begged me to fix it, so I did. Even with all the reinforcing I did the costume was shot again 45 minutes into our Halloween night. My son was so frustrated with this costume; he even called it a pile of junk. We threw it out as soon as we got home from trick or treating. It is a pity that it is made so poorly because it sure is cute!
Don't Buy, falls apart
We are really unhappy with the Transylvanian vampire costume that we bought last week. My son who is 6 years old put the costume on 3 of the 4 buttons fell off with minimal use. Also, the chain was barely stitched around the cape and also fell off. Within 5 minutes of use, I had the sewing kit out and spent 20 minutes putting the costume back together. Please choose a different vampire costume and save yourself some trouble!
