A firm favorite
My 10 year-old son wanted a Ninja costume for Halloween, so after much effort I located this one, which was closest to his ideal. It was well made, although there were perhaps 14 pieces to the costume (balaclava, body suit, leatherette body armor, leggings and wrist guards), some of which required threading and knotting.
Looks REALLY cool... not made that great, also- no gloves
For a costume, this thing looks really neat. If your son is planning on wearing this for only a few hours on Halloween night, it's fantastic. Very dramatic, very sleek looking.
HOWEVER, there are some things you're going to want to keep in mind.

3- The black fabric is pretty thin. You might want to have your child wear a black turtleneck and/...

We just replaced all the super-cheap laces that came with the costume with basic black ones. They were much easier to lace and held up well. We could also just loosen the shin and wrist guards and slip them off without having to unlace/relace. Couldn't do that with the original laces. We also added our own gloves.
The actual suit and hood are made of very thin material - like most kids' costumes. He wore a...
