The fabric of the tunic is a rich looking crushed velvet, but the hood, belt, and boot covers are very thin fabric that is stiff with sizing. I'm particularly bothered by the hood, which is too stiff to be arranged as shown in the photo. At this price I would have expected better quality. However, my five year old grandson loved the costume and is happy, and that's what counts!
