I originally found this costume on another site, but it had the same picture so I failed to notice this was the boy's version. The waist fit just fine, but the armbands and legbands were far too small for anyone with any amount of muscle. One of the bands snapped when I put it on, but it held after sewing it up. I just had to wear the armbands on my forearms and the legbands closer to my ankles.
Also, the grass skirt is much more thin than it appears in the photo. Whatever you wear underneath will be easily seen.
SERVED ITS PURPOSE
This whole outfit worked really well for the tribal function I attended. It definitely stood out and made for a great conversation.
