My son wanted a clone trooper costume to dress up for the Phoenix Comicon, and he loves Star Wars stuff. This clone trooper did the job very nicely. Well constructed with heavy-gauge rubberized plastic armor (not foam as on other costumes), and yet not too heavy so he was still very comfortable. The only issue is the utility belt - way too big.
Very happy with costume
My son is 8 and loves to play with his Halloween costumes. I am careful to purchase costumes that will stand up to some play and not fall apart right after trick-or-treating. Most of the clone trooper costumes we've seen in the stores are the cheap material with printing on it. This costume has a black body suit with rubber "armor" sewn on it for a 3-d effect. It also comes with gloves and a belt. I ordered the large size (it says size 12-14 for ages 8-10). It is a bit large for him, but wearable. The helmet fits him, but makes his head look a little small. It is a 2 part helmet with a front and back that attach with velcro. It fits fine, but we bought this costume to match a nicer helmet that he already owns. He is very happy with it, and wore it all day yesterday. I feel like this is a much nicer costume than we have seen in stores this year.
