Great value! My 9 year old grandson was cast as Santa Claus in his school play. This Santa suit was perfect and a great value. Only complaint was the beard ... it irritated his ears. Otherwise, great suit for the play!

Disappointed What I received looked less like the ad photo than like a creepy syphillitic uncle. The mask was shapeless and smashed permanently out of shape, with a giant bulbous shnause as the dominant feature. The jacket tie and shirt combo are made of kind of a loose shapeless poly blend that just hangs, no structure whatsoever. The hair was literally a handful of scattered glued on sparse clumps at the back of the mask, no fluffing or combing was going to improve the look.
My son was disappointed The picture of the costume shows a zombie with blood all over it but in fact the shirt, tie and jacket look like regular clothes. My son wasn't happy with this costume. I do agree that it was a good quality though. I told my son we would buy some fake blood but he was still sad.

Made granddaughter very happy! The costume was so close in size, it looked and fit nicely. The head was warm, and that was important this season. The fingers were cute, but hard to function with, but there is a place to slip the hand through. Adorable!
My Daughter's Favorite My daughter uses abcmouse.com for some of her learning (she is 4) and when she completes a level, which can take a couple of months, we allow her to pick out a prize. This was her last prize as she loves dinosaurs, especially dinosaur train. The costume was a little big and she can't where the head because it is too big, but she will have time to grow into it. Really cute costume!

Kid astronaut Costume If you're just a little concerned about quality, DON'T buy this! The outfit might have been usable if the vest that comes with the costume fit appropriately. The vest was about 6" bigger than normal and since it's a vest and the costume is already very cheap looking, fixing it and letting your child wear it would be embarrassing. The backpack is too big and only works by velcro into the outfit and helmet. The helmet was the craziest thing, a plastic clear shield that is delivered rolled so the shape is totally messed up. I can't really describe this horrible waste of money. Just don't buy it. There is no value in paying for what looks like a complete package for an astronaut costume but nothing works.
DISAPPOINTING! The astronaut "helmet" that was part of this costume was a complete failure. It was supposed to connect with the costume through some glue and velcro, neither of which held. It did not even last through one house of trick-or-treating before falling apart, in spite of our efforts to reinforce it before we left home. If I am remembering right, I think the costume was somewhere in the neighborhood of $40. Such a disappointment and not worth even half the money for a very flimsy polyester, nothing-special-about-it-without-the-helmet costume!
Cool concept, But not so durable! My sons loved this outfit. However, the all plastic backpack isn't well constructed, and has a bad 'plastic' smell to it that didn't go away even after weeks of being out of the bag. There was something sticky and gooey on the upper part I could not wash off.
The cloth 'jumpsuit' and top were ok, typical, thin costume quality, and got snags and tears after about a month. However they wore the costume for play time, not just one night for 'Halloween'.
I was really dissappointed in the plastic attached backpack. I would rather have purchased one of the space shuttle 'jumpsuits' that look better constructed, than this, if I had it to do over.

Great Looking in Theory I bought this CHILD'S costume for a child. The breastplate is made from a different plastic than the rest of the costume and BROKE right away! There is no flex to that piece and now there is a big split in the center.. disappointing and expensive!

My 8 Year Old Football player. I ordered this uniform for my 8 year old son who loved playing football and wanted to look like a pro. The minute the box arrived, my son had a grin from ear to ear. He immediatly put the uniform and helmet on and posed for all kinds of action shots. The uniform was true to size and was of good quality. The removable shoulder pads are nice so that he can wear the shirt around in comfort when the pads get tiresome. I would reccomend this outfit to a friend and love the smile it brought to my son's face.
great value! We purchased the "Franklin Sports NFL Seattle Seahawks Deluxe Youth Uniform Set Small #15700F28" for $25.00 in April 2011. Received the package several weeks ago and have been very happy. My child loves wearing the whole uniform around the house all day. As you can see from the picture, the jersey is not a replica jersey, but my child doesn't care. The jersey has little pockets in the shoulders where little plastic fake shoulder pads go, giving a fun feel of real football player to the kid. The small is significantly smaller than the larger size (I believe only the two size choices). My child is 8 years old, but really skinny, so the small fits perfectly. We tried the medium size on at a local store and it hung big. My child's favorite part is probably the helmet, giving a feeling of wearing a "real" football helmet to the child (though it is only plastic with no real padding inside, so don't use it as a real helmet!). Great uniform for little guys. I have to say, Franklin has outdone itself. Don't be fooled by their uniforms in the past. The helmet is awesome. They used to have that kind of square look to them. Today, they look like today's NFL helmets. The jerseys also have improved. The material now has a mesh quality to it and has a more comfortable feel to it. Highly recommend.

Awesome Astronaut I ordered this as a Halloween costume for my 6 year old son. He is tall for his age (in Kindergarten but is the size of most 2nd graders) and the Medium (8-10) size fits him with a little room to grow. It is made of very thin material so he will have to wear a few layers under it to keep warm on our northern Minnesota Halloween night which shouldn't be a problem. The patches, zippers, buckles are all sewn on well and it appears durable. The cap is great. I assume this will be used in dress up play well after Halloween. I also bought the helmet (don't waste your money - no way a child can safely wear this trick or treating) and the boot shoe covers (great quality for the price but impossible to get on with shoes).

Not worth the money I needed a Cowardly Lion costume for my daughter's "Wizard of Oz" play. Not having the time to make one, I ordered this costume. Extremely disappointed. I ordered a 10/12 hoping it wouldn't be too large for my daughter who is a 8/10, and it was small. Since we needed this costume quickly, I kept it. The head piece is in one word, nasty. I went out and bought a pattern and material to make my own as well as adding some to the costume to make it look better. If I didn't need this so soon, I would have returned it.
Very cute and accurate, not very well constructed. This costume is accurate to the cowardly lion, and very cute. This is not a well constructed piece. I had to return my first purchase because the material is so flimsy it was ripped. My daughter used this in a school play and it was a big success so I really have no complaints because overall she only used it for two days and it held up.

Scary Cute! This is a really cute costume! The mask goes totally over the head, so if you don't like that, you should consider something else -- but I gotta say, it's a great costume if you can wear that mask. GREAT TRON COSTUME While this is GI Joe, we turned it into TRON, because the tron costumes out there didn't come with helmets. Parents be warned!!! I am writing this review to warn parents about this product. My eight year old son wore this for his school costume parade for ONLY ONE HOUR. When he removed the mask he had a huge abrasion on his forehead. It looks like a burn. The design of the mask presses on the forehead and has a foam pad at that point of contact. This morning it is oozy and very sore. I will also be contacting the seller/manufacturer to express my displeasure and concerns.

I was very disappointed at the first sight... ...I realized this costume, saying that it fits up to sized twelve was pretty much nothing compared to the descripition. Two stars for false advertisement. The deluxe is a dud for advertisement. Overall, I would still purchase it for price, they just need to advertise it correctly.
Helmet was a cheap, thin foam German style helmet, not a hard plastic helmet as advertised on package. This is a completely different helmet. The picture shows fake rivets on helmet in picture, but no rivets or hard plastic, just a smooth foam helmet. It looks like a WWII German helmet...atrocious. Knee pads are of same thin cheap foam, not hard plastic and no riveting as shown in picture. My son actually sees this as a positive because he believes he can bend his knees better in the foam rather than if he were wearing hard plastic knee pads (his critique). The binoculars are different. The compass is missing the clear plastic cover. This does not include the gloves or goggles either.
Pretty good It came packaged, like you would get at a Halloween store. Came with a full camo-jumpsuit with knife pouch sewn-in that was for sizes 5-7. Little taught for my 8 year old, but it will work. Padded and pocketed vest is not bad. Also came with kneepads (flimsy), toy grenade, toy knife, toy binoculars, compass, dog tags, walkie-talkie that all attach with Velcro. Helmet is poor - made out of thin foam that was folded.

misrepresented This childrens police costume is misrepresented because it leads you to believe that the accessories come with it. They do not. Love this Costume!!! I absolutely love this costume. My 6 year old daughter wants to be a police officer just like Aunt Michelle! I am very impressed with the quality of this costume. Many costumes feel cheap and like they might tear at any moment. This is not one of those! I was impressed with the fabric. I also love that she can wear warm clothes under it, since it's way cold on Halloween where we live. My daughter feels great in this costume and I had to yell at her to get her to take it off! My only problem I encountered was buying the wrong size. I bought a medium (for children 5-7) and it drowned her! My daughter is actually pretty tall for her age and it was still way too long in both the jacket and pants. On the upside, it was very easy to alter. I'm still glad we bought it for her...and she has room to grow!

Bam Bam Costume My son is almost one year old. He has started to wear 24 mos. clothing. So I thought I'd get him a toddler size. It was a bit on the big side. Perhaps next year he can wear it. Did arrive in a timely manner, and it was in perfect condition, just a bit too big.

Cute but not durable This costume looked cute but did not last long and was not especially durable. The glasses broke after the first week of use. The doctor coat is not very exciting because its white with a pocket on the side, but that is what a dr. coat usually looks like. The headpiece also ripped soon after its use. If it was better made, maybe the kids would have had more fun with it.

Good Excellent conditions and not too hot like other pirates costume. It was extremely hot in south florida for Halloween, so this worked out perfect. The material is thin so if you live in a cold climate maybe you should go with another one, but well made, made it through the wash machine twice without a problem. The hat is kind of crappy and doesnt stay on right but the outfit itself its great.

this costume stinks while my son loved the look of this costume he did not like the smell.. it had a smell of plastic and burlap that was almost unbearable..you can not just throw it in the washer..i had to leave it over a vent for days before he could even put it on his face.

Amazing cloak! I love this cloak, it looks great online, but wait til you see and feel it in person! The colors are so vibrant and the quality is amazing! I would buy another in a heart beat and plan to get at least one more before Halloween!

Looked great with a little work The reviews and size chart said to order bigger but we did and had to do some modifications. The hat also was smushed from shipping but a round Rubbermaid container helped get it back to shape. Overall, my son loved the costume and he looked so cute!
good fun My granddaughter loved this costume. She added a tie to the hat to help it stay on. The hat is a little fragile, made of plastic so it wrinkles easily. A great choice for her.

I wanna be a scary ghost, mama! My 5 year old son sat beside me to look for a scary ghost costume on Amazon. The second this came on the screen he knew it was "the one". The price was decent though the size we wanted was out of stock so we ordered a larger size so I can't really comment on the fit.
Cons: Face mask was uncomfortably hot and he barely wore it at all. The material is thin, but there was plenty of room for heavy clothes underneath (we live in Maine)
Pros: great looking costume, price is great, held up nicely and he still plays with it from time to time. The chain looks and feels cheap but it hasn't broken yet and he is pretty rough on things!

Horrible This was one of the worst products I could have ever bought online and I am a frequent online shopper. My daughter was sooo disappointed. I wanted to send it back but couldn't find the bag it came in. It is very thin and like a jersey type of material. It is not even a jacket it is a pullover and it just has the "jacket like" design on the shirt. You are better off going and buying a pleather like jacket for the costume and it looks so much better. For $30.00 this is a RIP OFF!

My kid loved this as a Halloween costume My kid is 9 years old but has a small head so the helmet was plenty roomy. The Jersey has little removable shoulder pads and makes him look like a little football player. The iron-on numbers were great. It did not come with iron-on letters which would have been nice.
Best Christmas present ever!! Was a little dubious about ordering this on line - like to see product, touch it, check it all out - but decided to take a chance. It is the cutest thing ever!! My 3 year old grandson ran to put in on the instant he opened the package. Thankfully we had left it until last. He refused to take it off all day and tried to eat with the helmet on :-) Will be back next year for more presents!!
